Pre-Authorization of Services
Most services must be pre-authorized by Value Options or the Carroll County Core Service Agency. It is the responsibility of the service provider to obtain necessary authorizations. People seeking traditional outpatient therapy may simply arrange for an intake appointment with a service provider, who will get the necessary authorizations.  (Descriptions of various mental health services are listed below.)Information about providers may be obtained through the Networkofcare.org web site.
